Mamata Venkat is a Heartfulness Meditation trainer and lifestyle blogger based in New York City. Her TEDx presentation on the benefits of meditation has been viewed over two million times, and she was a featured speaker at the 2017 NGO Committee on the Status of Women/New York Conference. Mamata currently works in the public health sphere, and is passionate about maternal and child health equity, and increased mental health awareness. Mamata is a proud Hufflepuff, and enjoys reading, singing, watching Marvel movies and Friends re-runs, learning how to cook foods other than pasta, and spending time with her friends and family.
